Still Tired After Treatment is Done -- ?!
Hey... I would like to hear from anyone who has finished treatment and is deemed cancer free, but is still fatigued? I faithfully go to my check-ups, and praise God, have never had cancer found again. But, I'm tired all the time? This is a symptom of cancer, so it worries and nags me all the time? My treatment was rough...…

Hey, Spinnr -- thought I would start a new thread, as the other one is so long that my finger starts to get numb just from scrolling! :-) I LOVED your story about the two of you having a yard sale this morning, and your newly-bald GF sitting proudly, no wig or hat, with the donations jar telling every woman to be sure to…

Hey I'm back
I've been in a prechemo fog in preparation for my first round of chemo to start tomorrow. What should I bring? I understand a pillow, blanket, beverages, light snacks, and of course my sister SOS. Anything else? It's great to see all your postings and yes I feel the love and connection.

Chemo side effects - how sudden?
Hoping some of you can give me some guidance here... I will start chemo (Cytoxan/Taxotere) next week. My oncologist is astoundingly confident and reassuring that I'll tolerate it well and be able to keep working, which I intend to do. I have a sedate desk job, but my office is an hour's bus ride from home. I'm finding my…

The game of golf
GOLFERS WILL UNDERSTAND THIS STORY It was a sunny morning, a little before 8:00 am, on the first Hole of a busy course, and I was beginning my pre-shot routine, visualizing my upcoming shot when a piercing voice came over the club house loud speaker, 'Would the gentleman on the woman's tee back up to the men's tee please!'…

hot flashes & night sweat tip--worked for me
The following worked for me and just passing on because it might help someone else. A Sign of things to come....

It's causing me a little consternation though, as the Lat. Name for Clover is Trifolium Campestre.. Tri = 3. Therefore this does not really exist..Does it?…

Unexpected Funk
I'm having a moment. It's not heading in a good direction. I'm scheduled for chemo and a MUGA tomorrow. It's a 1 1/2 hour drive there and home. It will be my 3rd in this series of weekly for 12 weeks, and for the first time, I don't want to go. It's different than dreading it. I mean, I really don't want to go. My mind is…

Some Rad questions....
Hmmmm....I was just wondering. I noticed some people started using lotions from day one and some (Like me) was told that when you start to turn red (in about 2 weeks) we will give you all the lotions you need. How many think it is more benefical to use them in the beginning? I was also wondering....they told me do not…

CMF Chemo
Has anyone had CMF chemo? I've finished my 4th of 8 treatments, dose dense. My oncologist says it is well tolerated by most people. I was ill for the first couple of treatments but now I think we have the right combo of anti-nausea drugs and steroids. I'd be interested to hear about anyone else's experience. Thanks.

Hi! I posted this before, but, wanted to see if anyone else was having this happen and if you had it happen, is it still? I had a lumpectomy and I had radiation treatments also.
