Seafood Chowder is on
Seafood chowder or in Maine they say chowda. Made with potatoes, onions, haddock(1 pound), lobster(2 at 1 1/4 pounds), baby clams--no necks, jumbo shrimp(about 25 cut in half). Who's coming up to the chilly state of Maine. Be careful though-we are going to get an ice storm tonight with winds up to 60 mph. Love to have all…

They are up soooo high! I am just wondering if after it is all said and done and I have them swapped for silicon...will they still be…

More Stupid Things People Say…“pull myself together”
Many of you know I completed active treatment (chemo & rads) a few weeks ago, and am still struggling with fatigue. I understand that no one who hasn’t…

post latissimus dorsi flap arm/shoulder/back problems?
In 2003 had a left mastectomy with free tram flap (was stupid not to have bilateral in retrospect). Now I have a new cancer (IDC) in my right breast which was, fortunately caught early (showed up on breast MRI but NOT the mammogram, and on the ultra sound once they knew where to look). So I am thinking about the latissimus…

Ejection fraction of heart
I have had an echocardiogram at least every three months and for a period every week because the ejection fraction-which tells the doctors how your heart is pumping went low from the chemo treatments but never low enough to stop my treatments. joint and muscle problems from 3 years of femara
I took femara for 3 years after 5 years of convention treatment with tamaxofin. I had early stage breast cancer with a lumpectomy and radiation in Dec. of 1991. From the time I started femara I had problems but didn't relate it to the drug. Now, five years later I am almost crippled and don't know if it was from femara. I…

So what…

Hi Everybody. Just started coming to the site. Had my surgery last Thurs (1/14/10) Mammo showed a 3.4 cm mass, plus 2 other areas that all came back positive for IDC. Post-op visit update
Hi everybody, Thanks for all the support! I had my one week post-op visit yesterday. Didn't get the drains out and I have a lot of swelling. Hi everyone. I had a dermatology appointment yesterday and the doctor found two spots that he didn't like - one on my arm and one on my leg. New and Nervous
I have recently been diagnosed with Stage I breast cancer, thankfully with clean nodes. My doctor just told me he is submitting my cancer cells for a "Gene Profile Analysis," which will show whether or not I am a candidate for the pill Arimidex. They look so lifelike you wouldn't believe it! They are in…
