Today is my last chemo treatment!!!
I had the cold and fever, called the nurse, and she said as long as I don't have a fever on chemo day, I'm clear to get chemo! So, I'm good to go. I was fever free all day yesterday, so I should be fine today.
I know there's still a long road ahead of me ~ surgery and radiation, but at least I'm on that road. In my first consultation, the "boob" lady at the surgeon's office - Claire (aka- the warm-up act) told me it takes 9 months to have a baby, but a year to get better from bc. I'm half way there!

Yep, Pittsburgh. Got up at 5:15, got ready and was out the door after I posted. I had a 9 am appt. in Pittsburgh. We live about 30 miles east of there, but the traffic gets backed up going into the city. Wasn't too bad, I arrived about 8:35.
I had the best nurse ever! I wish I would have had her each time!! It figures! LOL! They saved the best for last!
Thanks everyone! -
