Fair Food
I went to the county fair tonight, and while I may have gained 5 pounds just sniffing all the great food smells, I walked past the sausage sandwiches, fried dough, french fries, cotton candy, loaded hot dogs, ice cream and the deep fried booth. They deep fry everything - oreos, twinkies, pbj's - how does it taste? I don't…

Now I'm really going back to work
Almost a year ago I decided to take a leave of absence so I could focus on my family and fighting this battle. At the time, I didn't think I could be there 100% for my customers, my team, or my company. After a couple of months thinking I was going back to work anytime...it is really happening. Monday August 1st I will be…

The port made it so much easier for me to get the treatment. I had my b/c surgery on 5/2/11 and due to complications with the wound healing on my breast my chemo treatments were…

Hey girls, I thought since there are a few of us currently going through radiation treatments I would start a thread titled "The Radiation Room". One year ago today...
I saw my doctor for some unusual swelling in my armpit. He sent me for an immediate mammo and ultrasound, the radiologist came in and said "I'm 99% sure it's cancer". So the roller coaster ride begins. Honestly, I'm not sure how I feel today about this. It's not something to celebrate for sure, but the memories and…

Some Good News
