I got good news!!!!
I went in for my sixth infusion today. I fully expected to be pulled off Doxil, because my cancer had started to grow. I'm on Doxil, and this is my second line therapy. My CA-125 lowered over 40 points. It's still stable, but going down is HUGE-- I have had several CA-125 readings going up.CA-125 is an accurate measure for…

I had to have my uterus taken out when I was 29 years old in 1979 due to a severe prolapse, and other issues with it. The doctor left both ovaries and tubes. I've had some ongoing pain in the left ovary area for the past four years. I finally found a gyn that ordered a transvaginal and abdominal US. I had a 2.3 cm cyst on…

Carbo Taxol 3 week cycle experience?
Hey folks, Most of the carbo-taxol regimens I've read about appear to start with carbo-taxol, then weekly taxol. I'm getting carbo-taxol in a single large dose then will get three weeks rest. And I'll do this 4 times. Have any of you have the latter regimen? What were your side effects like and how long did it last? I just…

Anyone Tried A Keto Diet?
Hi all, I'm 1 year into my diagnosis (as of later this month). I have grade 3c low grade serous carcinoma of the ovary. Slow growing, chemo ineffective. I'm wondering if anyone here has tried a ketosis diet? I've heard it's a good cancer diet as it starves the cancer of the carbs it needs to grow. Any successes? Any find…
