I got good news!!!!
I went in for my sixth infusion today. I fully expected to be pulled off Doxil, because my cancer had started to grow. I'm on Doxil, and this is my second line therapy. My CA-125 lowered over 40 points. It's still stable, but going down is HUGE-- I have had several CA-125 readings going up.CA-125 is an accurate measure for me!

Yea for you! It took 6 doses
Yea for you! It took 6 doses of doxil for my CA125 to go down 30 points but then it had gone down 15 points after 4 doses and then back up. I'll see what #7 has done in a few weeks. My oncologist says the up and down CA125 is nothing to worry about as long as it doesn't go skyhigh. The main thing is I'm feeling good and the treatments are monthly and really no side effects for me. I hope and pray the same is true for you. We have to hang in there and have hope and faith.

I have ZERO side effects. The cancer was stable for the last 6 months, now it's going down. What do your scans say?
