Newly diagnosed
I had a hysterectomy on Tuesday because of my right ovary being the size of a football. The doctor came in yesterday to talk to me, it was Mucinous Carcinoma (spelling?). Obviously we won't know the stage or grade until all the pathology is back. She said she is fairly sure it is stage 1 but the cyst leaked while they were…

Hi everyone, I'm having a complete hysterecomy in a few days, and I can't shake the anxiety and fear I have. Maybe others on here have experienced this before. Omentum
My mom has a small mass in her omentum. CA 125 levels are 229. No visible tumors in the ovary or any other organ in the body. Dr. says he feels something in the pelvic area after an exam. All other bloodwork is clear. CT scans, sonos, xrays only show the small mass in the omentum. Knowing that it cannot be primary in the…

Anyone here ever have a complete hysterectomy?
After chemo and an updated CT scan, I will be scheduled for a complete hysterectomy. Apart from having cancer, I have huge uterine fibroid tumors. I wanted to know what to expect. I'm a little afraid of the unknown. What did you experience? I'd appreciate any feedback you might have. Thanks in advance.
