Overwhelming fears
I know I said I have to go see my surgeon again. At first I was laughing at least it's not cancer related, but now the thought creeps in...what if it is? I've let this problem go for 3 years since it's just off an on. Alot can happen in 3 years. What if there is a blockage? The &*(*^*& fear is taking over today and…

Follow - Up Chest X-Rays
Quick backround: I was treated for Hodgkin's in 1982 (Radiationa and Chemo). Quad by-pass in 2002. At my annual Oncology check-up today, the doctor suggested decreasing the frequency of my chest x-ray from annually to every other year, because less radiation is always a good thing. When I said, " but isn't the downside…

Good news and not so good news
Hi, Friends Got word that my WBC became normal - so that is good news and that means I don't need the shots but the onc said I need to get the shots for 5 days before each chemo date. Huh! I am hoping that I get a break the week after chemo so that I can work 1 to 2 days (meaning right before chemo day). So how can I be…

Hoshimoto's Thyroiditis Prior to NHL
I recently read that there is a correlation between Hoshimoto's Thyroiditis and NHL. I was diagnosed with Hoshimoto's in 1980. It is an autoimmune disease of the thyroid gland. Just curious to know, if anyone else has heard of this or has a history similar to this. Thanks, Kellie

How's it going John?
Hi John, Just checking in to see how round 5 went for you. I can hardly believe you are nearing the end of your treatments. Neuropathy anyone? My concerns
In looking back before I had this formal diagnosis, one of the earliest symptoms that I had related to HL (or something else?) were the muscle/nerve body aches all over in the evenings and they were unbearable but ibuprofen save me from having them.
