Thyroid
I don't know about the correlation but do know that I was treated for toxic goiter or plummer's disease in 2004. Had a large nodule on my thyroid causing hyperthyroidism. Was Tx'ed with radio active iodine with enough success to bring the TSH into normal range just barely. I bring it up only because I have always been wondering why the enlarged lymph node I discovered in my neck, leading to my lymphoma Dx,was actually next to and touching that thyroid nodule. Thyroid and nodule always biopsied as benign. Makes me suspicious but have been told there is no connection. Hmmm??? -
Hoshimotis and NHL
I hadn't heard of the connection but it makes sense. I have read that NHL is a cancer of the immune system. I was diagnosed with hashimotos in the late 70s, and have then gone on to get several other tyes of auto-immune diseases (type 1 diabetes, chrons disease and others that I can't spell)
