New treatment today-Topotecan-anyone have this chemo?
Latest CT scan shows the existing lung tumor has gotten bigger and now a mass near adrenal gland was found. I just finished my regular chemo mid June. Onco doc started me today on topotecan, every Monday for 3 weeks. Then week off, do a scan and see how things are. Anyone familiar with this drug?

I had one carbo/Alimta treatment about 3 weeks ago, and have another one this Wednesday. Last Wed when I had my labs, they found my iron low and wanted to put me on Procrit injections. Been followed for lung nodules for 2 years. I didn't have my 4th CT until recently which was one year since my last 3 CT Scans. My 7 mm nodule is now 11 mm. I had a PET Scan which had an SUV of 0.7. Seeing a thorasic surgeon soon. I may need a biopsy. Anyone give me any insight to all of this?
