Not curable but treatable
My Dad's stage IIIb lung cancer, according to the Oncologist, is not curable but treatable. The goal is to keep it from spreading. Does this mean he will be on chemo the rest of his life? Anyone out there in the same boat?

Has anyone been on navelbine?
I just started navelbine on June 3rd. I am not looking forward to any side affects. Anyone out there had any experience with this drug? I have Stage 4 NSCLC and looking for something that will slam this beast into remission.

Radiation
After 2 years of treatments (chemo & radiation), my husband's stage 4 lung cancer seems to have spread to his brain. The doctors are talking about radiation to shrink that tumor and he is very worried about the side effects. Has anybody been through this? Thanks for reading me.

Starting new chemo drug
My husband had treatment with cisplatin and navabeen. Had some hot spots after completion. They are now going to try chemo again with a drug called Lymphia or something like that. One treatment for about 2 hrs. every three weeks along with B-12 shot. Has anyone ever heard of this drug? If so, what are the side effects etc.?

Has anyone had CyberKnife with success? If my nodule proves to be cancerous am thinking about cyberknife instead of surgery. Could a nodule grow 4 mm in 2 years from something other than cancer? Just curious?
