Supporting gf . Unkown stage adenocarcinoma .

Hello ,

My GF who is 35 years old has been battling cancer for about 4 years now .

It started as she couldn't breathe
- Fluid around the lungs - drained 4litres
2 weeks later - 4 liters
2 weeks later - 4 liters

- diagnosed by oncologist - lung cancer of an unknown primary .

Tests upon tests .. still no primary , however spot on her lung .
Dr. said this was a unique case, and we will treat her as if she has testicular cancer.

Chemotherapy - cisplatin and etoposide .

was really sick from this -tired , neuropathy. the common side-effects i guess

- New oncologist . for about a year said it could be scarring but we are not sure .
- went on with lives .

- 2010 Oct , nov ?? She was getting something out of the fridge - and next thing on the floor staring off making noises .
-Hospital - tests .
- Tumor on the brain .
Surgery - believe they removed everything .
Radiation dr. - > spots on the lung .
- Radiation - brain - 15-20 sessions
Tested motor skills - good .
( I see memory issues - but have read it as "chemo brain")

- Chemo Oncologist - we are going to try a pill - Tarzeva - 150 mg .
- 150mg--Skin was drying and hurting , her eyes were bloodshot and looking infected .
- was sick as well .
- 100mg -- same -
- Pill is not working .

- Chemo - oncologist - carboplatin
3 months of this
- not working .

- Present day -

- Went for ct scan .. see results for this on the 31st of august
chemo-oncologist - mentioned another drug .. unsure of name atm.

- MRI planned for first week of sept.

- Radiation - oncologist - appointment 2nd week of sept . to see if increase or stable .

Stages - it seems to me that this would be stageIV

am i wrong -
