Changing to FOLFIRI next week, can anyone compare to oxaliplatin xeloda avastin combo?
Hi Everyone, My onc is switching me over to FOLFIRI for my next treatment. It will be every two weeks, with a pump for 46 hours. I know that we are all different, but I am interested in how others tolerated this regime. I got into a rythym with the oxaliplatin/xeloda/avastin combo and liked being able to plan things around…

Unstoppable constant hick-ups.
Ever since I woke up from surgery about 80% of the time I have hick-ups. It stops me from falling asleep And wakes me up at night. The doctors don't seem to be concerned and say that this is pretty common after abdominal surgery. I'm ok, but after 5 days now it's getting really annoying. I tryed all the conventional…

inoperable, really?
My wife was told at dx that her colon cancer was inoperable. I refuse to believe this and I know there must be someone who was told this and proved them wrong. The problem is, how do you go about finding the right surgeon who is willing to take a chance. My wife is running out of options when it comes to chemo. Folfox and…

Getting ready for surgery.
I was doing so good so far. As I'm getting closer to the 8th, I'm looking more and more into what the surgery is gonna be like And what it is going to involve. This is a mix of natural curiosity and mental preparation. First I got myself familiar with the colostomy and it feels like I'm comfortable with that now. Then…
