My endocrinologist and I were talking about the link 2 years ago when I started growing nodules and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I had my first chemo on 1 March. On day 5 severe diarrhea and abdominal pain began. Even though the pain abated after 2 days, the diarrhea persisted until March 14. Immodium was continually needed.
