Can't keep a good woman down for long!!!

Me, today being bored...I booked a cruise!!! Inaugural cruise for Celebrity's new ship....Hamburg, Germany to Rome, Italy....on my BIRTHDAY!!! YEA!!!
And, even though it only stops in Barcelona, Spain before hitting Rome, I booked a Port side cabin, so I'm looking at land, out of the sun, the whole cruise!!!
And since it is ME paying for it....I booked a Concierge level cabin....fresh flowers everyday, champagne waiting on boarding, early on and off...YEA!!! At least ONE of us knows how to travel...
HE is responsible if he wants to go to Hamburg early, or stay awhile in Rome (we only were there for a day last year...I want to see MORE!)...so who knows?
Hugs, Kathi

Bon Voyage!
Sounds like a fabulous cruise - IF you can handle floating in big boats - I can't - can't even handle being in an aircraft carrier while it's tied to the pier - REALLY BAD experiences as a 6 y/o on the maiden voyage of the USS United States. I so envy those who are comfy on big boats - Hubby spent 20 years in the Navy and it never bothered me taht he was floating but in all those years I think i only went aboard twice and it was tied to the pier at the time. I've almost been talked into trying to do an Inland Passage cruise to Alaska IF we can have a land side cabin which would be starboard heading north but I don't know.
Sounds like a fantastic cruise for you - ENJOY - you will!

You can go, but only if you
You can go, but only if you keep supplying me with your wonderful travelogues. I swear, I love living vicariously through you and feel as I am right there with you. You describe the sights so beautifully I feel as if I am right there with you. I bet you bring a huge ray of sunshine to the folks here--you definitely do to me! -
Did you mention, champagne ? Color me envious, butlynn1950 said:Hope you stay awhile in
