Hi. I've been in remission for 4 years and have felt wonderfully. 2 weeks ago I noticed a lump on the mastectomy site (closer to my underarm). Ultrasound done and it states "an abnormal mass further testing is necessary" on the area. My world came crashing down and slight depression setting in. I am scheduled to have the…

To Chemo OR NOT to Chemo
This is my very first post...diagnosed with BC in October, (you know the month when all those pink ribbons are constantly in your face as a reminder) In December had a lumpectomy and sentinal node biopsy that showed NOT clear margins and a less than one mm tumor in lymph node. Just two weeks ago had a mastectomy and all…

BRCA1
My daughter at 32 has the BRCA1 gene and had a mastectomy she kept her own nipples. She found a lump in her nipple and had a biopsy done and it came back abnormal so she has to have the tissues taken out to see if they are positive. I would like to know if anyone knows the chances that they could be cancerous?

Metastisized triple negative breast cancer in bones
Hello , Havent been in for a while. I was just diagnosed with metastatic triple-negative breast cancer in the bones. Keronique Hair products
Hi all - and bless you all on this journey. My hair is thinning (on Ibrance and Letrozole, stage 4 BC with mets). I doubt I'll lose it all, I had a lot to begin with and I'm hoping to hold onto what I have left. I know this sounds so vain, considering the alternative, but has anyone used the Keronique products and found…

Has anyone had a stitch show up years after your surgery?
I have what looks like a stitch coming out. It's not on my lumpectomy incision, but, on another small one where I had my breast surgeon take out a lump 2 years ago that was bothering me as I was afraid it might be the bc back. 2 years? This seems bizarre. Anyone else have stitches start coming out years after your surgery?…

Radiation treatment body position etc.
This is going to sound seriously silly but my mom is having radiation treatment on her remaining breast. How do they position you for that? Do you sit in some kind of chair oriented thing or do you have to lie down? I had to lie down flat on my back for pelvic radiation. Just wondering. Thanks in advance!
