Fried Chicken Our teacher asked us what our favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried chicken." She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, because everyone else in the class laughed. Still taking naps-anyone else snoozin' too?
I take a nap almost everyday. 1-2 hours. My family is really giving me a hard time, saying I sleep too much. I'm cancer free right now, but I'm stage 4 and have been through chemo twice. My body is worn out. Does anyone out there still take a little snooze during the day to feel refreshed?

mastectomy camisole
Does anyone need a mastectomy camisole. I got 2 through my insurance but did not use them. I tried one on at the store, then washed them both. When I went to wear it, it bothered my skin too much. So they haven't been worn. They are large, I am about a size 10. They come with the drainage pockets that velcro to the inside…

Lymphedema Massage
I recently went to see a new Physical Therapist for my lymphedema. I really liked her and she was able to reduce the swelling in my arm by two inches. While there she taught me how to properly massage my arm, she allowed me to video it which I have posted on my You Tube acct. If you are interested in seeing it copy and…

Mostly Good News!! It's not cancer, but is a group of cells doing their dividing dance and could become cancer, so it has to be removed. But the report says: A fragment of atypical epithelium is detached and can not be classifed with confidence. So, I guess I'm not in the clear yet? I will be having a lumpectomy which I…

Update on crabby nurse way out of line
Well, at my pain clinic appt this morning, I told the receptionist that I had a nurse give me grief over my restricted limb bands (that are provided by the clinic for ALL patients at risk of lymphedema). She called the clinic supervisor right away. She kept it short, I gave her the facts--nurse argued not once, but twice…

Looking for others who had chemo 1st
I was diagnosed with HER2 breast cancer in January and opted to have chemo 1st. My July 8 MRI showed no cancer, but surgery is being planned. Trying to decide between lumpectomy or mastectomy. Not sure which is best option. Would like to hear from other HER2 patients, especially if you had chemo first. Thanks!
