Well, Ladies, I had a very rough hysterectomy last Friday, but I am home and I'm here and other than the searing pain still have my bladder and bowel function intact and my appetite is very slowly returning. Hello. I wanted to see if anyone has had success with preventing cancer recurrance or treating cancer using ozone therapy, and if so, which type (hyperbaric vs IV). My mother is in remission from an aggressive uterine cancer (MMMT) and we wanted to look into this as an option but because it's not a proven treatment we are…

D&C/Hysteroscopy Questions
I really appreciated the advice of this board's members. I decided to go through the uterine biopsy and hysterogram, rather than going straight to a D&C and hysteroscopy. A polyp was found and the biopsy results were benign, so the next step is a D&C and operative hysteroscopy. I am still mulling over the following: 1.…

Uterine mass after endometrial ablation
I am currently awaiting results of a biopsy I had yesterday and I’m terrified and the wait is torture . I am 48 and currently am experiencing menopausal symptoms. In 2014 I had an ablation for abnormal uterine bleeding. I’m afraid the ablation has masked symptoms so I have no idea how long I’ve truly been having issues. I…

Now dealing with leukemia
Hi uterine cancer discussion board buddies, I was recently diagnosed with leukemia, which probably resulted from the treatments I had 9 years ago that saved my life. I'm in the hospital right now, trying to get my blood numbers stable enough to begin chemo. Another tough road ahead, but I'll do my best, and like before I…

Sloan Kettering or Johns Hopkins
Feeling a bit overwhelmed. Will have biopsy next week. No matter biopsy results, given family history of uterine cancer, I will likely seek a second opinion. I live on the East Coast. Immunotherapy for non-MSI-H cancer
This article caught my eye because it talks about the succcess rate for treatment of Microsatellite stable tumors using Keytruda combined with Lenvima. It's important because currently, to qualify for Keytruda, your cancer has to be microsatellite unstable, which eliminates a lot of people (including some members of this…

Treatment Plan Updates
So finally met the doctor who ordered a chemo and radiation for my mom. 4 cycles of Paclitaxel (Taxol is one of the brands I think) and Carboplatin. Post that 6 weeks of daily 10-15 min of radiation.
