Relay for Life Team
I am looking for ideas for my Relay for Life team. There will be several types of cancer represented on our team, so it does not have to be specific to uterine cancer. If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate your input! Love and hugs to all my sisters!

Arimidex did not work for me
I took Arimidex 1 mg daily for 7 weeks to see if it would slow the rise of the CA 125 for me. It did not work. My last CA 125 was 645 (9 weeks ago). My CA 125 today was 1510. The gyn/ono feels it is time to start chemo again. I did not have a CAT scan today, but he said he would order one if I wanted it. He did not think…

"Lies, damn lies and statistics"
Pardon the language but that is a quote from Mark Twain (who claimed to be quoting Benjamin Disraeli. At some point I believe that just about everyone on here with USPC was upset with the statistics and had to get past that. I just wanted to point out again the distortion. USPC was only made a separate diagnosis in…

Got my CT/PET results (not good) and started Avastin/Cytoxin today.
I knew my CT/PET from last week would show disease progression since my CA125 went up 550 points to 876 over the last 2 months I was taking carboplatin. And I was right, but at least no additional organs or new lymph nodes lit up. The malignant node in my arm pit shrunk, but the para-aortic node was a little bigger. The…

CA 125 as marker
Hi All, I'm new to this board and I was wondering if any of you with UPSC were like me in that I have never had an abnormal CA125. I was diagnosed with stage IIIC UPSC and my marker never went above 15 even though it had metastasized to my para-aortic lymph nodes. Likewise it has never gone below 7 even after surgery. Of…

Replens for moisture
Friends, I was reading on the boards here that some had the product Replens recommended to them to counteract dryness. This chemical is also…
