thanx for thinking of me. i did remove my photo since it was so outdated, but will put another one up one of these days. i'm doing ok, tried a hormone therapy which i'm quite sure made no difference, but don't have a ca 125 or visit with my doctor for another couple of weeks, then it's probably on to another chemo....i did have an assay done, so have some choices of chemo combinations that seemed effective, so it won't be hit or miss chemo. will keep everyone posted when i know more--what kind of chemo, how often, duration, etc. also going to see a great nutritionist when i get my labs and know what chemo will be, so she can customize a diet for me based on what i'll need. i've been losing weight on the anti-cancer diet, which neither my doctors nor i want me to be doing before chemo. odd that the megace i've been taking is supposed to put on weight, but that hasn't been the case, though my appetite is good, and i eat alot, just not what puts weight on.
again, thanx for checking in with me. hope all is well with you.

It is good to hear
Maggie,
It is good to hear from you. I am glad that you had an assay done so that they can find the right chemo mix for you instead of trial and error method. I have to get the anti-cancer diet book. I do cook using the "light" recipes and use tumeric and cumin in my recipes. (My kids didn't even notice). I do drink a lot of tea, although I do drink black tea too.
Everything is good with me. I have been a little stress because we were in the process of buying a house. Now I got my husband's cold but am feeling much better today. I am looking forward to springtime. (I live in Pennsylania). There is still some snow on the ground, it is rainy, wet, slushy, muddy, but at least it is not as cold as it was! (Always looking for the positive!)
May your day be bright and happy,
Kathy
