HIP PAIN
I know I have been asking a lot questions with regards to pc. I just want to ask one more. As you know my fathers PSA =6 and Gleason 3+3 = 6. The doctor stated that it was only detected through the biopsy. However, my father is having hip pain. Does that mean it has spread beyond the prostate. That is what the prostate…

PSA at 62 months after chemo ended
Now what? My dad went through 6 months of chemo, which ended May 2006. His PSA in July was 6, now (Sept), it is 62. I feel really bad for all the encouraging words I sent people saying that even though theirs or their loved ones' PSA rose during chemo (which happened to my dad), it will go down after chemo. My dad's PSA…

PSA
I've had several PSA tests starting in February of this year with results approx.: 9.2, 4.6, 4.4, 3.8, 4.7. My doctor doesn't think the possibility of prostate cancer is worth pursuing (except to continue the PSA testing), but I'm a little uneasy. What do you think? I'm 64 and a PSA level of 4.7 isn't remarkable, I gather.…

Sending a joke from the Colorectal Board
I am a strong poster on the crc board, being a survivor of both rectal and breast cancer. Thought you all might like a giggle....
