Hello, I don't know where to start, but after two endless, and sleepless days I landed myself here. I feel like I need group therapy as no one I know, other than you all on this site can understand me and my pain. My mom started showing signs of being sick right after Christmas. She had this awful cough, and chest…

My father has been dealing with lung cancer for four years. We found out today that he has a very small brain met. We were told that it's treatable especially since so small. He will have his first radiation on Tuesday and I am wondering if anybody else has had a successful control on the mets of the brain. Thank you.

Yikes and here I am to talk about it. I see a lot of new names here and if I may impart a few words of wisdom...Do not let ANYONE and I mean anyone put…

Has anyone here, ever heard of a lung cancer patient, receiving or given the option of a lung transplant? I know the procedure is performed for other lung diseases, other than cancer, and am curious as to why this is not done or even brought up by Oncologists. LUNG CANCER METASTASIS TO THE BRAIN
Our doctor is recommending Whole Brain Radiation Therapy (WBRT) for my Mother. I understand IT IS NOT A CURE. It only adds time. I cannot get a straight answer from my doctor. How much time "on average" DOES it add? AND can they guarantee "quality of life" after WBRT? For those out there who have undergone WBRT -- has it…
