Small brain met on the brain
My father has been dealing with lung cancer for four years. We found out today that he has a very small brain met. We were told that it's treatable especially since so small. He will have his first radiation on Tuesday and I am wondering if anybody else has had a successful control on the mets of the brain. Thank you.

What type of radiation are they planning?
My prayer for you is that they are doing a gamma knife. a survivor in my group had it and is doing very well. she went back to work and loves being there. She is dealing with slight progression in other places. At this time they are planning second line of chemo.

Seeing her outcome I will do g/k first. It scares me less than it used to.
