Had Brain MRI the 16th
After kidney cancer surgery 3/8/18, and all info on that is in my profile, I have begun to get dizzy. I had a week where I was pretty much down and out! Earth shattering dizziness. Doc couldn't figure it out, so they ordered a brain scan. Just before that, I started taking antihistamines, thinking I had a bug or allergies…

Chromophobe RPLND Surgery
Two years ago I underwent a very successful surgery called RPLND surgery, this surgery is the reason I am alive today. Two days from now I will be attending my youngest daughters high school graduation. So My CT Scan
says the left mass is unchanged BUT says I have 'Anteriorly within the midpole of the right kidney, there is an enhancing renal mass measuring 1.4 cm." That's the kidney I JUST had surgery on! The report didn't say "complex" or "solid" so I'm not sure if there is another cancer they missed? Any thoughts?

I have not been on this forum for years but I remember how great it felt when I saw somebody else had conquered this disease. This is not a death sentence. Plan of Care
I have been spending a bunch of time at the bedside of a friend of mine who's been quite ill and in the hospital. Nope, the admitting diagnosis wasn't RCC, but the "Plan of Care" I saw written on my friend's in-room white board the other day is definitely applicable for us RCC folks. Plan of Care * Wake up * Nutrition *…

Fuhrman Grade IS VERY IMPORTANT - even for small tumors
I noticed another good discussion on this topic. When was last at the oncologist, I asked him to "re-tell" me some of the information he shared at an initial meeting - and I was finally in a place to process it. He showed me a chart with 5-year survival rates for Kidney cancer. Yes, those with stage 1 tumors that are grade…
