I've been on Sutent for 2 1/2 weeks - side effects have nasty - but I've been determined to get through this. My question is, has anyone experienced their blood pressure drop dangerously on this? Are there any chromophobe RCC that have taken Torisel out there? Or any other chromophobe out there
I have recurrent chromophobe RCC on my liver and in my bones. I was wondering if there was anyone else on this site who has chromophobe and has taken Torisel. I just finished Sutent (two months) and it did not work for me sadly. I am hoping the Torisel works and buys me some more time.

Ionized water - Alternative Cancer Treatments?
For most of early stage kidney cancer patients, we are just told to follow 6mon or yearly scan after the surgery. I am wondering whether anyone has information on alternative cancer treatment. Many researches have shown that an acidic body has high risk of having cancer. Does anyone have experience with using ionized water?

The only bloodwork I've been having is Creatinine, and it's mainly just before any CTs or MRIs - and it's to make sure my kidneys are going to deal with the contrast.
