Is Gleevec suitable for me as a prophylactic?
I had a polyptetomy done for cancer in the sigmoid (large intestine). The polytectomy was sucessful and a followup CT scan showed no spread of the cancer i.e. liver, lungs etc were all clear. A full blood scan showed perfect results. Can I take Gleevec as a prophylactic ? Would appreciate any advice. TIA.

Somewhat Discouraged
I know you've all been there. It's just so heartbreaking to see my once strong, fearless husband unable to even stand on his own. He is really struggling. He was given an Ambien for sleep last night.
