Any feedback appreciated
HI everyone, this is a wonderful network. I've been reading just to learn, but I still have questions. Unfortunately, all I have from my biopsy is pretty 'medical' and I have no clue what to make of it. My GI doctor at first said it was "of benign appearance" but imagine her and my surprise when it came back with "invasive…

***ANOTHER UPDATE*** My husband is in the hospital - SEE LAST COMMENT!
My husband is in the hospital. I had to rush him to ER last Monday because he was having trouble breathing. They admitted him right away because he was showing signs of having a heart attack. My son takes the SAT at 7:30 in the morning (what kind of psycho plans a test arrival at 7:30 on a Saturday?) and needs a ride since we couldn't find a local location. Other than that, just me sipping on some almond milk by the garden and enjoying Mr. Sunshine (from under a really big hat!).

Experiences with Medicare and Home Hospice?
Good Afternoon Everyone, Mom is being admitted again to the hospital because her CEA is off the chart and she basically was shaking/almost falling for days. I'm so thankful
I'm so thankful for all the advances in cancer treatment without which I would have missed so much these past 7 years. I have serious hockey fever right now with the Kings so close to winning their 2nd Stanley Cup. I've been a fan for 30 years and without the new treatments, my great doctors, and this board's support,…

Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to give an update on my brother. He's still doing the 5-FU and irinotecan. He is on a lower dose which is giving him a better quality of life. Once he is doing better, they are going to add the leucovorin and erbitux back in. I guess they are waiting to see how he tolerates the dose he's on now. We are…

Getting Ready for Chemo/Radiation
My husband's port has been placed and he's mostly back to normal. He's been a trooper; having a long weekend to rest and recover was perfect for healing. We're almost done with doctor visits before treatment begins -- just one more with the radiologist to do the CT scan to get measurements before radiation begins. It feels…
