The plants are telling us something.  The wifi in my house will be moved to the basement tonight and everyone is to turn off their phones when they go to bed.  It's just good common sense even though there is no true evidence yet.  Out of the mouths of babes . . . .

    And I have said this for a while. I work for a cable company and they came out with a smart router last year. It has 2 connections built into it. 1 is for the customer with private SSID's that they log into to use the internet and the other is a wifi hotspot which emits that radiation about the length of a football field so any paying customer with a log in can join into it for signal. The companies goal is to get these all over the place so you have continuous connectivity all over our footprint. If you are a customer and have your cell phone set to automatically connect to our system, you can avoid data charges anywhere you are logged in. I was talking to my onc about this and he said that was a great business move/model. I said really, I don't want that radiation in my house with my family exposed to it. He said he did not think of that and just said umm. I then told him that it was unfortunately more business down the road for him. This hidden, unknown radiation is all around us and I am quite sure the government knows the consequences of it as it is all regulated through the FCC. Not sure how long I have left and it doesn't really matter but my 10 YO and 14 YO do not need that type of added radiation. Plenty to think about.

    Yes Allen, that was my thought too.  Our Wifi is in my kids' room.  My son plays an online game and it's literally next to his head when he sleeps.  The football field info is very interesting.  Where would you then put it so that you are safe?  The best I can do at this point is move it to the basement.  Not even just for cancer but in general, it's a good idea.  Let's see what the official experiment shows.

    I have an app on my phone

    I have an app on my phone that tells me the strength of the wifi signal in a customers home. There are many things that can degrade the signal and make the wifi signal go down such as microwaves, cordless phones. Reflections from windows, and the overall construction of a house. The best place for us to install a wifi is in the center of a home for the best overall coverage so moving it into the basement might lead to issues with the wifi in an upstairs bedroom that's furthest away but you would have to decide how improtant the signal is over the health ramifications. I really do not know what the answer is for that but I would not want it in my sons room next to his head.
