Not good
Just had the most disastrous day. Went for my 3 monthly bone scan (last one was NED!) This one was not. They blew a vein with the injection, very scary, then the scan glowed pure white on my left shoulder (yes I have had pain there) also whole spine and pelvis. THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told there is nothing more they can do no trails and no drugs to try. This is all because they are basing treatment on records that wrote me off as died lady walking. Forgive me it is very much wrong i am still breathing and will contunie to fight.

Sore toenails from Taxol
I am diabetic and having tenderness on several toes. I have had 4 treatments of Taxol and am wondering if this is a side effect. I have heard that some people lose their toenails/fingernails and am worried about infection from my diabetes(typs 1 for 46 years).

Diabetes and Cancer too!
I am a long time cancer survivor recently diagnosed with bone mets. Two years ago I was also diagnosed with diabetes. I have been managing the diabetes pretty well but just wonder now how this new situation (I will be starting Herceptin soon) will affect my diabetes. Anyone else with this combination?

Arimidex for more than 5 years?
Hi, my onco said I could come off Arimidex after 5 yrs which is coming up in a few months. He said it won't do any good after that. i had a mastectomy in nov 2014. i have only seen my surgeon and primary doctors so far. the surgeon said he got all of the cancer and that i would not need chemo or radiation. he has not refered me to an oncologist. shouldn't i see an oncologist at least once ?

Trace here. Surgery is all done and went well. She's having yummy jello and broth and has been up and moving about. She's got much more range of motion than I thought she would so everything is going well. I found a vending machine but only Coke. I'm going to smuggle some Pepsi in later.
