I am having a very bad day today
I am so sad today and I really don't know why. Maybe it is because I am alone and some days are worse than others and today is a really hard day. I can't see the screen as I am typing--tears are blurring my vision and rolling down my face. Alone--friends call and say they will come and visit and then don't show up or call…

Allergies
I am supposed to have surgery on Thursday, April 15th. Our pollen count is horrible here and my sinuses are acting up. Has anyone has this happen and will they go ahead with the surgery. I so want to get this over. I think I will absolutely breakdown if they call it off. I have been stressing for a month. I want it over.

Hi....I'm new to you gals!
Hello. My name is Tawny and I am new to the discussion board thing. I was diagnosed with IDC and DCIS 8.13.2009. It has been a whirlwind ever since. I know you all know what I'm talking about. I have wanted to join in on the discussions sooner, but chemo kicked my bottom hard and I just never had the energy. When I had the…

Wound infection -- I have scared myself by imagining what this is
I had the second part of my reconstruction surgery done 13 days ago. A day or so ago, I noticed that the right nipple wasn't attached as well as the left one. Now I've noticed that it seems to be "hanging off," and there is a green, malodorous drainage coming from it. I had already planned to call my PS tomorrow, but now…

Update from Sunrae
Sorry I haven't been on too much lately but it seems like I ran out of energy since I had the heart procedure to open up one of my blocked arteries. Its probably more from the bronchitis or asthma than the heart. Today I went to another cardiologist that will be at the same hospital where I'll be having my masectomy and he…

Cream better than spray!
The CCI I went to for chemo used a numbing spray for the port and it was good - less than a usual arm blood draw prick. I had a CT scan at the hospital that they used my port for and they had no numbing - it hurt. Well now that I'm done with chemo VA wants to do the flushes at their clinic (my PA's RN is the one that's…

crying
Okay, so when I was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer, I was very calm and said, what do we do now. Chemo started and I was okay with it. Then we needed another biopsy of one of the inflamed lymph nodes. As soon as I walked into the breast surgeon's office I began to cry. Then I would cry in the oncologist's…
