New to all of this
Hi Ladies I've been a "silent stalker" LOL on here. Your posts have been really helpful for some of the questions I've had. I'm a 35 year old mother of 3 who was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in Nov 10 with 4/15 nodes positive and I'm triple positive (BRCA-). Still don't know what all that means exactly. I've already had…

Infusion Port Removal - In Office
Just wanted to share my recent experience regarding the removal of my infusion port. Initially, when the port was inserted, I was promised it would be removed in the same fashion that it was inserted - in the operating room with me being out. A year and some months later my surgical oncologist decided he would remove the…

MamaG I've been off the boards
I've been off the boards for quite awhile and was saddened to read about MamaG. She, along with so many others welcomed me, answered questions and was such a gift to us all with her sprit. But her spirt will live on in all of us. I've been off the boards not because I am doing well but because I have been overwhelmed with…

Good morning to all of my Sisters in Pink, I'm asking for all of you to please pray for my friend. She had her first mammogram last Monday. I've been having Herceptin treatments for almost 10 months, but my last echo cardiogram showed that my EF (ejection fraction number) had dropped below 50 ... so they have stopped the treatments for a couple of months to allow the number to go back up. My concern is with my port.... if it isn't accessed for 2 or more…

Can someone let Mama G's family know about the outpouring of love and sympathy to her from her pink
I hope her family knows how much we all loved Mama G and how all of the pink sisters have been praying for her here. Maybe it will give them some comfort and peace knowing how much she meant to us.
