I never thought…

Zometa side effects
So, Friday is my second Zometa infusion. After my first I was really sick. I had a fever of 103+ for three days straight and then a low grade fever of around 100.5 for the next three days. I was shaking so bad from the fever that I actually managed to pull muscles in my back. I am hoping that this is the sort of thing that…

Off topic....may be my last dutch treat....sigh....
After 19 years, my beau and I are talking a split. More me than him, but both of us have been unhappy for a while. I will stay for his birthday, but, beyond that, well, it's uncertain. Fighting the beast more than once has taught me that sometimes the best decisions for myself are the most painful ones. This one fits that…

Anyone else with a child who is very quiet about it?
DH and I have 3 children, ages 23, 20 and 11, all still at home. The night I was diagnosed (1/13/11)we talked with the boys (2 oldest) who responded with some questions and have continued to at least once in awhile ask questions or make comments. However our 11 y/o DD says nothing at all unless she is asked. And even when…
