    funny story
My insurance didn't want to pay for a Muga so I had the Echo. The specialist saw a shadow he didn't like and I ended up going back in for a scope procedure where they put a camera down my throat and looked. There was nothing wrong, thank goodness, it was only a shadow. All was well, but it ended up costing the insurance company twice as much as the Muga would have if they'ed approved to start with. My Onc. thought that was hysterical. He loved the pay back.

    It depends
It depends on what they are looking for I was told. I have a MUGA because we are doing measurements on my valves.

    Same problem
Being denied the MUGA, start TCH on the 4th and I'm a bit scared about not having this test because of my family history of heart disease. I have high blood pressure/cholesterol as well. My Onco is trying to find a loop hole...She is a funny lady, giggling about all the ways she "Dupes"the system :) Having an Echo Friday but I'm afraid it's not enough. Insurance companies can be so heartless.
