in Breast Cancer #1
and he said my skin had healed well. He told me to continue to massage the areas where my breasts used to be and use cream as it will help with the nerve ending twinges I get. I'm still a bit numb on the sides of my body where the sentinel nodes were removed. I see him again the end of November. I see onc next week. Yesterday I had CT scan to look at nodules in lungs that appeared in PET scan. Onc will give me the results. Today I had a lumbar spine MRI.

    I'm glad you're skin is healing well. CT and an MRI..well here's praying the results are good.
    You mentioned what the CT was for, but not the MRI. Were you having pain in the spine?
    Hope you hear the results soon. Waiting is the hardest part.

    I have degenerative disc disease. I had 3 disc cervical fusion Jan 08 and have a metal plate with 3 screws. A couple of years ago I was dx with lumbar spinal stenosis. I have had nerve blocks several times and twice I had a caudal epidural. The MRI is showing I have 2 bulging discs and the stenosis. My back aches all the time even when sitting. The worse is when the pain shoots down through my butt into my legs. I have Lidoderm patches and a TENS unit. I also take pain meds. I'm waiting for a spine surgeon to look at the MRI and give me his opinion on what to do.
