suspicious pain
For 5days already I have a pain in the lung/liver area on the right side. It's not sharp or strong, but I already think is recurrence. I'll call my doctor tomorrow. What else could it be if not recurrence? I'm almost two months after finishing chemo.

Saw a Wound Care doctor today
I finally was able to get into the Wound Care clinic today. They took pictures of my port site wound and measured it. Then they gave me a prescription to soak my packing material in before I pack the wound twice a day. I also got some new kind of bandage that isn't supposed to rip my skin off. I go back next week for them…

Lowered dose
I'll be brief, because the web site keeps logging me out. Getting #3 infusion today at full strength, but nurse is suggesting to lower dose due to extreme side effects on nerves which can be permanent, she said the chemo will still be maximized for cancer, but now the excess is going to side effects. Thoughts?

Greetings Everyone, During my hysterectomy I had 23 lymph nodes removed - all in my pelvic area. Prior to my dx I had a lot of pain in my left groin area and my arm pits. My Mom's Surgery
My mom goes into the hospital on Tuesday for a hystirectomy; the good part is that we made it to surgery and her tumor shrunk by half. She is now cureative instead of controlable. The hard part is that I am more scared now then when she first got diagnosed, it is really hard to see my mom this way and I have no idea how to…

Pain?
Does anyone take anything else besides motrin for muscle/bone pain? I don't want to necessarily get started on stronger pain pills that cause other problems, but nothing I'm doing is helping and it's increasing. I walked on the treadmill this morning, took a hot shower, sat with a heating pad, massaged my legs, NOTHING! My…

External Radiation Procedure
I don't know if this has been addressed in a previous thread, if so, I apologize in advance for asking. In March I will begin 25 rounds of external radiation. For those who have done this, are you naked or covered? A friend of a friend told me you're buck naked lying on the table in the custom cast made so you don't move.…

Chemo hell!
Are any of you or have you in the past followed this chemo path? Day 3, 4 and 5 are hell - dry heaves, pain, dizziness, fatigue, dehydration, white-coated tongue? I can no longer take oxycotin since I'm having night terrors and bad constipation. The night terrors were so bad I stayed awake throughout Sunday into Monday for…

It wasn't fair and I'm sorry. You guys are the best and going through the same hell I am and I shouldn't have put my mental problems on you. Finally starting to feel better
My last chemo was over five weeks ago and I'm finally starting to have some energy. Hopefully this means that my red blood count is back to normal. I don't gasp for air just walking from one end of the house to the other!!! My fingers, especially on my right hand, are still numb - I dropped a 2# open box of uncooked…

Insurance problems!!!
A new year; a new insurance deductible! We changed plans this year and bought a plan with a fairly low out-of-pocket expense since I knew I would be hitting it. My hair is growing back while on chemo?
OK, with this head rash infection, I admit I'm watching my head more than before, but when I run my hands over it, it feels like more hair! I also got my magnifying mirror out (chemo has changed my vision too) and I can see in the light lots of white hair, short like it was when I had it shaved, but it's new, not the old…
