I just finished one year of chemotherapy with taxotere and carboplatin (I was allergic to taxol), for stage 3 grade 3 endometrial cancer. We didn't expect it to take…

I have been having stress incontinence for the past couple of months. Started with a nasty sinus infection where I was caughing and sneezing up a storm. I read where this is fairly common after pelvic radiation. I don't have any bleeding or vaginal discharge just the occasional loss of bladder control when I cough. I was…

Hi ladies, I have been on doxil since late Sept. and have been dealing with extreme fatigue since then. My doctor thought I should take an antidepressant which I have been on for 3.5 weeks and actually more fatigued/depressed. I am now referred for counseling which I am not opposed to. I think I am worse mentally - I have…

Minimal rise in CA 125
Had my doctor's appointment this week. It was 5 weeks since my last marker was done. It was 357 last time and 360 this time. I cold not believe it was such a small increase. My lab was not back yet when I saw the doctor. So he ordered a CAT scan to be done the end of January which would be three months from the last one,…

Hi, this is my first post, although I have been reading for a while now. My mom was diagnosed with stage 3 grade 3 adenocarcinoma. She was treated with 3 rounds of tax/carbo, radiation and then 3 more chemo rounds. After this she took 6 weeks off treatment and then had a CT and pet scan. These scans showed some regression…

Colposcopy Procedure
I had my yearly OB appt in December. Today my doc called and informed me of my pap showing something "possibly" abnormal. Informed me nothing showed up but I'm on the border line. Now if I didn't have cancer 2 years ago he'd suggest I wait and not see him until a year from now. But...in my case he want's to be sure there's…

Post-treatment CT Scan
I had my first post-chemo and vaginal brachytherapy visit with my GYN oncologist, who is an amazing doctor and person who graduated from Harvard Medical School. I had stage 1 UPSC. I told her that I was concerned that my oncologist had told me that I would not be getting CAT scans because it seems like most of the UPSC…

Cancer Research Antineoplaston
Have anyone read or watch the DVD about Dr. Burzynski cancer treatment? I just finished watching it in Netflix. Of all the cancer research I did before treatment, and continue doing, I never heard of Antineoplaston A10. Mainly, the type of cancer treated is brain cancer, but apparently it might work with other different…

MMMT Stage 3a
My mother was diagnosed with uterine carsinosarcoma - MMMT - we just got the pathology back from the surgery and they said it is stage 3a. The surgeon didn't take any lymph nodes during surgery - she thought it was stage 1c after the surgery. When she talked to us she didn't really explain that the new staging meant that…

New to this board but not new to cancer
Hi folks, I can normally be found on the colorectal board, as I had a rectal tumor diagnosis 3 years ago this month. I had extensive surgery and have been doing well since then.
