New.
Good morning everyone. I'm new here so I'm not sure where to start. I guess when it all started. When I was 23, in 2010, I was pregnant with my 3rd child. I had a pap. My paps had been abnormal for a while, but this time it was different. A colposcopy and biopsy confirmed carcinoma in situ. I was told not to worry and my…

Result of cosultation today
I had an appointment today with the oncologist at Dartmouth. I am scheduled for hysterectomy next Tuesday, and I am terrified. It will be my first surgery. They will try non-invasive first, then may have to do abdominal if they find it's spread. They also picked up some irregular heartbeats. Dartmouth is a drive away, and…

My new plan
Hi ladies. Well I gave alternative treatment a great shot and was very compliant with that for nearly 2 months. But... Today I got results of blood work and scan and learned that cancer is progressing in lymph system from clavicle down. My CA125 jumped another 70 points (about 50% in 5 wks) so all the dieting did not stop…

Anyone with MMMT try Cancer Centers of America?
I was diagnosed with MMMT 1A in June of 2011 at 45 years old - complete hystorectomy followed by chemo and radiation. I only did 2 rounds of chemo because of extreme negative side effects - lots of blood transfusions etc. I was then NED until 7/2012 when I had extreme back pain and could not walk. Found I had a tumor the…

Hi Trisha, I had my first visit with Dr. Lea yesterday. I really like her she is soft spoken and goes over everything with you and really takes the time to explain. She was very concerned that no lymph nodes were sampled and that i was put off for a long time getting on a oncology board. She felt like a lot of time was…

Ladies, I know a few of us have been waiting for tests. I'm celebrating NED! Wow, this is remarkable what the information does for you. I have had a difficult time believing I'd be NED. Truth! I said I have Faith, while I was imagining the worse. Honestly, I was caving into my imagination a bit. I felt pain, in the entire…

Has Anyone Tried Fra-infrared Saunas?
With high ferritin levels since my second transfusion eight months ago, I keep reading that saunas are really good for cancer patients (heating the body up helps to not only detoxify but to antagonize cancer cells); I read that infrared saunas are perhaps the best. I am reading every day, though. Thanks all for the encouragement. A question: I've been taking Premarin for over 20 years. They…

I have 7 cats, all adopted as injured, stray, abused kittens. I am on SSI, so it's a struggle to keep them, but they are my only family. My Jonathan went to the vet today, and he has oral cancer. Prognosis is very poor. I am just devastated. He has gotten very thin, surgery is possible, but it's spread, so that's useless.…
