how do you get loved ones to understand what you are going through......
All my test before surgery were not certain for cancer. After surgery my entire thyroid was removed along with two of my lymph nodes because of cancer. Frozen Section Biopsy Reliable??
Does anyone have any info on whether or not the Frozen section biopsy is reliable for hurthle or follicular neoplasms? I had mine on Wednesday, but was wondering if anyone got a benign result with the frozen section, then malignant with the final biopsy?

Pazopanib Clinical Trial--very good results so far
I just returned from the Mayo Clinic where I got some very good news re: lab and scan results. My Tg level is down to 125, from a high of 1225, then 333, now 125. I just had my 2nd surgery to remove the rest of my thyroid. I am getting ready to start the low iodine diet for the 3 wks before the RAI treatment. Does anyone have tips. I want to be careful and follow the diet closely since hurthle cell does not always absorb the iodine, I want to give myself the best results. Any advice…

Kristilynn and everyone--how long does neck feel uncomfortable after needle biopsy test
My necks still feels uncomfortable from needle biopsy. How long does discomfort last. I have been taking tylenol. It's not terrible, but sometimes it will start to feel alittle more bothersome then at other times. When I woke up and got up today it seemed more bothered. Thank you for your feedback.

Super bummed out lateral nodes now involved.
