I wonder if my thyroid nodules are from cat scans and should I take it out now?
I had renal cell clear cell cancer 3 years ago. Now I need a complete thyroidectomy. The nodules are so large and growing into my throat. Drs. Did fine needle biopsy, and it doesn't show cancer, but they can't guarantee it doesn't! I wonder if the cat scans I have had for the kidney, gave me this large goiter. Do I wait…

She said they would have the…

Careless Measures Re: RAI
It has come to my attention that some doctors are not warning or informing people in the US about the importance of isolation after RAI. This leads me to believe that some people are not careful because they are not told when it comes to protecting others from the radiation. Is this why the cases of Thyroid cancer is…

Meds you can take after thyroid problems
With the pollen and allergy season arriving, I'm just curious about the sinus/allergy medications you can take. I was told not to take anything that says in the very fine print not to take if you have have thyroid problems, so I was wondering how these meds affected the majority with thyroid issues and what to take.
