Quick question...
I just had my tracer dose of RAI and I have had a severe headach since about 35 minuites afterwards it is going on 19 hours now and tylenol is not cutting it. Is this common? If so.. when I get the higher dose on friday will the headache be worse?

i am just a little confused
I know on every label and product they have the sodium content, but never say iodine. My dr. said if i need to use any i can use kosher salt. Are the recipes on Thyca.org safe to make?

side effects of the no iodine diet

After the thyrogen shots
That is Monday and Tuesday. On wednesday I have to get an ultrasound and then take the pill. For some reason, it says I have to fast from 2:30 am. Does that mean fasting until I get the body scan on Friday?

Is it required that you take Thyrogen before you start your RAI treatments? I looked it up on my insurance website and it is not covered and they estimate that it is $2045.00 per shot. Can you "get ready" for RAI without it?
