Salvage radiation after surgery, when to start?
The standard salvation treatments started when PSA reached 0.2 after surgery but I have read that some cancer centers started treatments when PSA reached 0.1. There is a fear of early treatments as they may caused more harm than good as the prostate is no longer there to shielded other organs. I have recently read the…

High Gleason/low PSA
hi, I just had a biopsy. All 12 samples have an “aggressive” cancer cell sampling. My Gleason score is 9, but my PSA is only 4.4. When I search for information on low PSA and high Gleason I’m reading that this combination has a much higher mortality rate. Does anyone on here have a similar profile? I’m sorta lost…thanks Jim
