Restasis for Dry Eyes
I went for a routine checkup with my eye doctor last week. He wrote me an Rx for Restasis for the dry eye problem I didn't even know I had?? First of all, I am skeptical of any drug that advertises on TV. Secondly, why did the doc give this drug for a non-existent problem. Or at least ask me about symptoms I may be having.…

New; CD8 (Cytotoxic) T-Cell Lymphoma
Well, the title says it all. Kyle has been diagnosed with CD8 T-Cell Lymphoma. In which, I am finding it hard to find information on this type of lymphoma because I do not think it is the correct diagnosis name. I think it actually is something along the lines of Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma. So I am awaiting the doctor's…

It hit me hard with constant changing symptoms, that have now calmed down. The doctor is sending me for a ebus' after a ct scan showed exstensive mediasternal lymph node reaching into the upper right lung. She suspects lymphoma but says it could also be a malignancy. I found this online it made me cry Laughing. My girl friend did not find it funny. I leapt out of bed, ran to the dressing table mirror and burst out laughing…

Day #3 post-chemo de-virginization
Hi all, Just wanted to post that it is day #3 after my first chemo and I still feel great, actually better than before. Due to the prednisone, I have more energy that I did pre-chemo. Hey all-- Well, it may not be day +100, but the oncologist has decided to go ahead and have my post transplant PET scan. Familiar pains began showing back up around day +28 or so, and I'm guessing that's why we havn't waited the full 100 days. My Big Toenail
Chemo has some of the most obscure side effects! Some I knew about--nausea, hair loss. But some have been just weird. I had been told that the Doxirubicin, which is part of R-chop, could discolor my nails. Indeed, I have watched my fingernail change color, little by little, in the past few months. They now have layers of…
