2 Trips to the Emergency Room Last Night
My husband went to the bathroom and had a lot of blood last night. This is the first time since the initial day of finding the tumor. We thought that maybe a trip to the ER would be wise since he also felt a bit lightheaded. They called the urologist and he said it wasn't too surprising and since his bloodwork was…

Dark Places
I am sorry to be such a burden with my constant worries and fears but I don't know where else to turn. My mind keeps going to those dark places. My husband's first appointment with the surgeon will be on Thursday. I am so terrified that he is going to find something that the urologist missed. Also, someone just said to me…

One kidney left and diagnosed with chronic kidney disease
Had my left kidney removed in Aug. 2010. Stage 1. Was lucky that they found it in a CAT scan for something else. Was just starting to feel comfortable that the kidney cancer was probably caught in time and has not spread. Now my bloodwork shows that my creatinine levels are climbing and, as a result, the GFR is getting…
