Here's a link that I have posted over the years and update occasionally. It's a Google Map showing where we live. Where in the World Are You I originally started it as a means of support and sharing. A way to find those close to you and to offer support for those that might want to participate. I have met a few survivors…

Hopefully not, again a MASK question. And yes I reread the superthread before writing this so redirect me if I missed the answer. I go for the fitting (i guess)tommorrow. Faster feedings using a feeding tube - options?
Hi I have been using my feeding tube for about two weeks almost exclusive. I'm using the gravity bolus method but it just seems to take forever and when my wife makes me something a little too thick it takes even longer. Has anyone heard of ways to move food quicker? I ask this because I eat about 8 or 9 times a day and…

20 treatments done! Woo Hoo!
I think my last few posts on here were pretty negative so I thought I'd post something a little more positive. I couldn't drink anything without MM and I was getting dehydrated because water…

Hi, new here and thought I'd say hi and introduce myself to the group.
I was diagnosed with oropharyngeal squamous cell cancer; tumor on lower right corner of the tongue. Trouble with brushing teeth and gag reflex
My husband has started gagging and vomiting when he tries to brush his back teeth. His gag reflex is crazy sensitive right now. My only thought was to take an Ativan half an hour beforehand because a lot of it is that he did it once, and then anticipates doing it again. But that may not be the best solution. Has anyone…

Numbing the Throat
We all use the Magic Mouthwash and it's my understanding they all differ to some degree. Mine had Lidocaine and about seven other ingredients mixed in. One was an anti-fungal I suppose was there for weird growths. There is only one I use that has a better numbing effect than the mouthwash. It is Lidocaine Viscous 2%. My…
