Hi all, It's now 1 week since an uneventful surgery to remove my thyroid, which was so enlarged that I was to have it all out last fall, but that was prior to the colon cancer diagnosis. Things went very well, with just a little scare with a nodule the surgeon found and sent out for immediate frozen sample biopsy during…

Hi guys, I was wondering what you think about vitamin supplements, minerals and general nutrition. I am extremely relieved, though not looking forward to 6 months of chemo. Hopefully that will be the end of it. Take care! Jamie

I have noticed a lot of people commenting on their bottom hurting after surgery for rectal cancer. I am assuming that is where the surgical site was? Is it uncommon for my surgery to have been done thru the abdomen? I didn't have any rectal pain after surgery. Just curious. Barb

Hi all, I am still home. I am having problems sitting down still. How long before your bottom feels better? I had colon resection with a permanent colostomy. Hello everyone, My friend Julie is undergoing her first chemo treatment today. She had a tumor removed from her colon around the first of June.
