Hi all, Sorry I haven't posted lately. I was in the hospital again for 10 days. I came home yesterday. They think that I had a kink in my bowel. My colostomy stopped working for 5 days. They used enemas and irrigation and finally got it to work again. I hope it stays that way. I was very sick again. I hope I'm on the road to recovery now. I have no one to stay with me while my husband works and I'm kinda nervous about that. I sometimes feel like a big bother. I really missed you guys. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm going to read the old posts and try to catch up. LOL. Well, I love you guys and I have really appreciated your thoughts and prayers. Keep them coming. It's been a rough 2 1/2 months. I've only been out of the hospital 2 weeks out of that time. I pray that all the bad is past and I'll start feeling good again. Again, I'm so sorry that no one has kept you posted. My daughter is in Florida on vacation, so she's not been able to keep you updated. She really needed it after all that she had went through with me. I really had them all worried. I asked my surgeon how close I came to dying and he said they didn't have to use the paddles, but my blood pressure had bottomed out during surgery. That they did almost lose me, so I'm very glad to still be here. I love you guys and have missed you. Talk to you all soon.
Love and prayers, Judy

WELCOME BACK!!
Boy, Judy, you are a rock to be able to go through the last few months. It's so good to hear from you, I've been worried every time I saw the date of your last post. Hang in there, strong lady, and here's prayers for only smooth sailing ahead. I'll e-mail tomorrow,
Wishing you good days ahead, the other Judy0 -
Hi Judy. Always so good to hear from you! You are an inspiration when times get tough and it seems we all have tough times, some maybe more than others, but the road never seems to be exactly easy,. QWorth it though.Sorry to hear about yourtroubles again , but glad you are back home now and maybe you'll start feeling like your old self soon. My hubby goes for liver reection Aug. 24 at Hopkins, so we'd appreciate your prayers also. I have been keeping posted on your progress for months now and am always glad to hear from you or your daughter. My hubby is also so glad to hear you are home again. Please check into having some support at home for yourself whem hubby is gone.. I worry alll the time when i am at work and call home to check on my hubby at least once a day. I also can come home for lunch so that helps if he needs my help with something. Maybe you can have friends or neighbors call everyday to see how you are doing. Don't be afraid to ask. I am finding out people leave you alone because they just don't know what to say to you or what they can do, so if someone asks, tell them... it actually helps us caregivers by giving us something to do. I can't control my hubby's cancer, but I can do lots of other things to make his days go smoother and with less struggle. Keep us posted of your progress and we'll continue to pray for your complete recovery...
God Bless,

Welcome Back. You sure have had a rough journey. I am glad that you are feeling better. You daughter kept me posted and I prayed everyday for you. It will take a while for you to get your strength back, and you will look back and wonder how you did it. I was recently in the hospital for a small bowel obstruction. It was the Sixth time in the last year that I was in the hospital. It has been a rough year, but things are getting better and they will for you also.

Hi Energizer Bunny...uh, I mean Judy!
So glad to "hear" from you! You are such a tough cookie! Instead of "grandma047" perhaps Terminator047 is more appropriate.
Glad to hear the plumbing was fixed, and you're on the road to recovery.
Take care,

Hi there Judy- I'm so glad to hear from you. Hopefully that will be the last time you are in the hospital for a long time. You really have been an inspiration to all of us.
It sure would be nice if you could have someone over just for lunch during the day. It helped me to eat more when my appetite was not up to par.
Best wishes for a smooth, quick and sucessful recovery from here on out you more than deserve it.
