Hi Judy. I am so happy you are home. You have been in my prayers through this whole ordeal. I have also been through the mill in the last few months, but I am getting better every day. I think you might find the United Ostomy Association site very helpful. It helped me alot when I had my ileostomy. When you get to the home page, click on Discussion Groups/List Servers, the window will pop up on the right side of it and just click on General. This may also help others. Good luck. Hang in there. Like my surgeon keeps telling me "You will get better". mmmm Blessings0

i'm not sure how long you've had it but it can take a long time to work properly. and just b/c there are bowel sounds doesn't mean that all parts of your gi tract are working in a coordinated effort - which they need to do for a bm. hang in there and try to talk to someone who specializes in this, like an ostomy nurse. i bet the nat'l assn might have some help and your hospital/home health nurse group should have an ostomy specialist. good luck!0

Dear Judy,
It's been two days since your post and I pray that this are better by now.
You certainly have had more than your share of struggles. I pray that things go more smoothly for you and your body begins to heal.
We are thinking of and praying for you.
