Burned medical records
Today we burned my mom's medical records. In June, my husband and I bought a piece of property out in the country. We are city folks and are used to things like city water, sewer, and trash. So, moving the country has been quite a change for us. We know nothing about well water, septic tanks, or flood irrigating. We are…

Before people get diagnosed with the various stages of colon cancer where biopsies done on other (possibly effected) organs? Let's say a colon tumor is detected an a biopsy has determined that it is cancerous; if the CT scan shows other "shadows" or "spots" on the liver and lungs shouldn't a biopsy be done to rule out…

I haven't posted since I finished chemo in August: I suppose I've been trying to put the whole cancer experience behind me (it all seems a bit unreal now). Until recently I was feeling great, running or going to the gym most days and walking our new puppy (my post chemo present to myself!). For the past ten days I have…

Hi all, Not to be bummed out or anything, but I just spoke with my onc. and "it's back!".
