bowel changes

There are a myriad of things that can cause bowel changes...but kudos for keeping an eye! And it sounds like your doc is taking care, too. There is always a possibility that cancer is too small, and not on a polyp, for a colonoscopy to miss. Have they done any other scans...CT, etc? Stress is a big changer of bowel habits...with all I've been thru, I have to be VERY careful to stay hydrated, not eat naughties too much. My 'new' rectum REALLY lets me know if I do! (I ate 3 bites of popcorn at Disneyland recently...sigh...suffered for 3 days...lol).
Please keep us posted, but try not to worry, it sounds like your doc is on top of it!
Hugs, Kathi

Kathi, Thank you for responding. Sounds like you have to be very careful with what you eat, but still a day at Disneyland sounds like you are doing well. I pray that you enjoy continued good health. I will look back on the site and read some of your previous posts to see what road you are traveling. I have not had a recent CT but did have 2 of them in the past 2 years because of colitis. Never had any polyps but there is some diverticulitis. I am at the age now that when someone tells me about any ache or pain, I can reply,"Oh yes, I have had that".....KathiM said:There are a myriad of things that can cause bowel changes...but kudos for keeping an eye!
