Three Years NED

I don't post too often any longer but still read the posts frequently, and wanted to share. I am just back from a follow-up visit with my oncologist. I'm at 3 years this month. The onc said everything was going good. WHEW! I always get nervous as these visits come up and was especially nervous for this one although I already knew the colonoscopy I had a few weeks ago was normal (one small benign polyp).
Hx: diagnosed 12/04 with stage IIa colon cancer. Laprascopic right hemicolectomy and regular follow-ups with oncologist. No chemo (long story for another time but a tough decision).
Feeling very releived.

That's great news Howard. I just passed the 3 year mark too, and so did Scouty! I am not sure how many of us there are but glad you could join us! Weee! My onc also said the 3 year mark is very important and that so far so good. She told me to come back every 6 months till year five and then she will tell me to "Have a nice life". I can't wait for that day to come. Enjoy the worry free hollidays!
